I saw Mr. Sadek with really bad back pain. He was very patient and listened as I gave him my history and everything related to the current injury. He asked probing questions and was very polite and attentive throughout the session. In follow-up consultation, he went through my report in detail and explained in terms that was easy for me to understand. His positive attitude and general caring demeanour made a lot of impact in my general wellbeing. I can’t thank him enough and would highly recommend his service.

You just cannot praise Mr. Sadek enough; we are truly grateful, you have given my husband his life back; after so much suffering and no other specialist ever finding what was wrong to create such pain and disability, Mr. Sadek went the extra mile, diagnosed him even without seeing the exams (and then ordered more to be 100% sure) and did his level best so that Michael could be operated on as soon as possible. Michael felt at ease with Mr. Sadek as soon as he met him and completely confident. It is obviously important to Mr Sadek that his patients feel valued and listened to, he also included our family member who helped Michael through this, Michael was already at a point that he needed to have assistance to get through this. From barely functioning to back to doing what he likes to do (slowly!) in 6 weeks, is nothing less than a miracle; Michael never expected such incredible results and his nerve pain has almost totally disappeared. It is impossible to convey the horrible pain he was in nor how much of his body was effected by two completely flattened discs, prior to the operation. We only wish that we had "discovered" Mr. Sadek sooner, Michael's pain and disability have been a major problem for some years.
The explanations, information and hospital treatment in all aspects were as close to perfect that anyone could wish for. Mr. Sadek has such a remarkable personal touch.
Michael walked out of the clinic, on his own, 4 days after the surgery. Mr, Sadek, the sun rises and the stars shine for you! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Christy & Michael

Mr Sadek was kind and attentive, he ensured everything went smoothly and kept me appraised prior to my operation and came to see me the next morning with all the relevant advice. He called me for my follow up appointment and again ensured I was fully appraised of the next steps.

Ahmed is a consultant neurosurgeon who specialises in complex spinal surgery and is the Clinical Lead for Neurosurgery at Queens Hospital, London. In addition to this he is the NHS England North East London & Essex Spinal Research Lead. He has a busy practice and sees NHS patients at Queens Hospital, Barking Havering Redbridge University Trust and private patients in London.
He has completed the Sir Hugh Cairns combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical complex spinal fellowship at the Royal London Hospital. Prior to this he was an academic trainee in Wessex and held the Jason Brice Fellowship in Neurosurgical research during which he spent a year at the Universitätklinikum Bonn, Germany. He was awarded a doctorate (D.Phil. Oxon) in 2005 from the MRC Anatomical Neuropharmacology unit at the Univerisity of Oxford where he was awarded numerous prizes and scholarships. He completed his medical training in London at St. Georges Hospital Medical School.
